Educational Grant Requests:

As a company dedicated to improving health outcomes in acute| intensive care medicine worldwide, The Medicines Company (“MDCO”) supports independent education and learning initiatives for healthcare professionals that meet unmet educational needs and improve patient care.  Consistent with legal and regulatory standards as well as the ethical standards under which MDCO conducts business, MDCO will not fund grant requests to induce customers to purchase or use our products or to promote off-label uses of our products.
MDCO will accept and review grant funding requests for the following areas of therapeutic interest:

• Anticoagulation
• STEMI
• Percutaneous Coronary Intervention
• Stroke
• Hypertension (Acute Care & Surgery)

Grant requests must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the date of the event or educational activity.  To submit a request, please complete the grant application (Independent Health Science Education Grant Application) and budget (MDCO Grant Budget Template) and send all supporting documents (e.g., letter of request, program agenda, etc.) via email to Educational.Grants@themedco.com.
