Meropenem-vaborbactam, an investigational agent, is a combination of the carbapenem, meropenem, and the novel beta-lactamase inhibitor vaborbactam (formerly known as RPX7009). Meropenem-vaborbactam is being developed to treat serious gram-negative infections, such as cUTIs.
