In the complaint, the defendants are alleged to have violated certain provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Specifically, the complaint alleges that defendants misrepresented and/or failed to disclose that: i) Medicines drug cangrelor was not surpassing the effectiveness of its competition clopidogrel; ii) the clinical trials sponsored by the Company were not properly administered and were unethical, which included the delaying of administration of clopidogrel and lowering its dosage; and iii) due to the above, the Company’s statements were materially false and misleading at all relevant times.
